Out of 25 samples of non-organic oat-based foods from U.S. grocery stores, including Quaker Oats and Cheerios, 92% contained a pesticide called chlormequat.
Wow, nasty! I'm in Canada, and although historically we have had better standards on a lot of things, pesticides, not so much. They love to spray stuff on our food here. I came up with the term coincidism to describe how vax pushers blame the problems they are causing on coincidence, but it applies when foods cause cancers or when fish die downstream from factories as well. I hope to see this word in common use a year from now...
This is unacceptable.
I make my own granola with locally grown, organic oats. It's expensive and takes a couple hours, but it's so delicious.
My son eats some of these brands. I've watched him consume a ton of it over the past year. 😕
