We should probably fire anyone who thought following China’s COVID measures was a good idea . . . along with anyone who thought how we handled the pandemic with our lockdowns, travel restrictions, forced face diapers, and COVID vaccine mandates, were good ideas too. There’s no place in science for such stupidity.

Great piece megan...you are far too kind though😄. We need a little more OT STYLE justice than this...punishment as a deterrent for future wrongs...firing doesn’t cut it IMHO.

Not to be picky but in the fourth to last paragraph in the sentence about what we saw, I believe you meant to state that we saw depression “soar “, not sore. Otherwise this was an excellent synopsis of the China debacle. Keep up the good work, Megan!

I thought shutting down the economy was stupid from day one. It was too drastic, the theater was already evident, and the catchphrases were already fabricated (social distancing, for one). At the end of January on RAI news the US was color-coded red because we had 5 cases. I asked myself what they would do if we got 10. After red there's nowhere to go. And it was evident from early February that the fear was being hyped. I'm not cutting any slack on this. I did for far too long. They KNEW from day one. That's why I won't cut slack.
